While we love being able to chat with you, sometimes you need information when the office is closed. With Dixon, you have full access to any of your account information online through our Dixon Tenant Portal. You can check account activity and balances, schedule work orders 24 hours a day, and download a copy of your lease.

Disasters can happen any time of day. (Usually during the most inconvenient times.) When they do, you can reach out to our emergency service (855.559.5525) to talk with a live representative and get help immediately. That’s not just service, it’s peace of mind.

How do I submit an application?

What number do I call outside of work hours if I have an emergency?

For all after hour maintenance emergencies please contact Night Tenders at 1-855-559-5525.

How will I pay my rent?

You will be enrolled in an autopay system at the start of your lease term. You can choose the day of payment between the 1st and 5th of the month and payment will be withdrawn from the bank account of your choice.

How will I get my security deposit back?

You must give us 30 days advanced written notice of your intention to vacate, schedule a move date, and return the keys. To receive a full refund, you must leave the property in the same condition it was leased, barring reasonable wear and tear.

Are pets allowed in any apartment?

Yes! We allow cats and dogs (maximum 30lb limit/breed restrictions apply) with vet papers certifying breed and weight. There is a one-time, non-refundable fee, and an additional security deposit may be required.

What is your guarantor policy?

In some circumstances, a guarantor may be required, such as where household income is less than 3X the monthly rent.  If you have questions about your particular situation, we encourage you to speak with your leasing manager who can explain our requirements and policies.

How long does application approval usually take?

Once you have viewed a property and submitted your complete application (including supporting documentation), you can expect to hear from a representative of the Dixon team within two (2) business days.

How quickly can I move in?

Once you have signed your lease, anticipate around five (5) business days for us to prepare your new home for move-in. 

Tenant Questions

What is my balance?

Account balance information can be easily retrieved through the Dixon Tenant Portal. In addition to finding account details, you can also request work, communicate with your property manager, and review your account history.

How can I pay rent?

You will be enrolled in an autopay system at the start of your lease term. You can choose the day of payment between the 1st and 5th of the month and payment will be withdrawn from the bank account.

Where can I find a copy of my lease?

A copy of your lease will be available to you through the online Dixon Tenant Portal.  If you are unable to view this, or are a roommate of the primary account holder, please contact your property manager who will gladly provide you with a copy.

Can I paint my house/unit?

Yes, you can paint your unit (with permission from your property manager). However, the unit must be returned to original color upon move out to receive a refund of the security deposit.

When are late fees applied?

Late fees are charged on the 6th of each month (unless scheduled otherwise) to all accounts with outstanding balances.

When is garbage day?

Garbage collection information can be found on your local city sanitation website.
